General Info: Lord Gilenir Veythorne, Feriae Enfiel Vaalor, and the esteemed patrons of the Royal Arboretum invite all burgeoning botanists and gardeners to the first Botanical Symposium!   We extend the invitation to partake in one or many of our presentations over the span of two days, Feastday the 26th through Restday the 27th of Koaratos.<br><br><b>~ * Botanical Symposium Program *~<br>Feastday the 26th of Koaratos </b><br><br>1 Elven<br>Lord Gilenir Veythorne<br>Royal Arboretum, Walkway<br>Introduction and Unveiling<br>-<br>2 Elven<br>Lady Rohese Bayvel<br>Verdant Symbiosis: The Partnership between Trees and Plants.<br>Following on from her paper and Library Lecture on the Sentience of Trees, Rohese looks a little more closely at the complex and interdependent community around trees and how they engage in dynamic relationships with other plant species, including flowers, fungi, ferns, lichen, and mosses.<br>-<br>4 Elven<br>Artist and author Aliraswaen will be hosting a discussion on the cultural importance of flowers.  She will do a deep dive into a traditional Nalfein flower, while inviting others to present and share specimens of their own cultures.  A copy of her book, the Hornet and the Hollyhock, will be available for those gathering.<br>-<br>6 Elven<br>Elanthian Vogue Cocktail Party to celebrate the publication of this year's edition.  Guests are encouraged to showcase botanical-themed outfits, ideally using garments purchased from town boutiques, embellished by Speciality Design sources, and/or utilising all the crafting tools available to us.<br>-<br>8 Elven<br>Lady Rivienne Mandaire Loenthra<br>An Introduction to the Quiet Beauty of Night Gardens:<br>Rivienne delves into the unique ecology, aesthetics, and design principles of night gardens, with particular attention to fragrance, texture, and species that thrive after dusk.  She will also touch on the harvesting of botanicals for magical use, including the influence of lunar phases.<br><br>--<br><b>Restday the 27th of Koaratos<br></b><br>1 Elven<br>TBA<br>-<br>2 Elven<br>Lady Rohese Bayvel<br>Verdant Symbiosis: Communion, Ritual and Reverence<br>Continuing from yesterday's lecture on the symbiotic relationship between trees and other plant species, Rohese looks at where we fit in.  More specifically, what can this symbiotic relationship tell us if we take the time to be part of the botanical community.<br>-<br>3 Elven<br>Lady Elaejia Silithyr<br>Continuing her ongoing research in the lost knowledge of oral histories, and combining it with her previous study of aberrant mana foci, Elaejia discusses the possible healing applications found in Ardenai folklore.<br>-<br>4 Elven<br>Bathcwyn Missoni Sabretache Faendryl<br>Botanical Forms and Geometry in Glasswork<br>Missoni explores various cultural glassworking techniques, paying particular attention to how practitioners use glass to mimic botanical forms and natural geometry in both sculpture and wearable art pieces.  <br>-<br>5 Elven<br>Feriae Enfiel and Miss Aubrige<br>The Solitude Bee - Variations Along the Eastern Seaboard
