Can someone explain how to craft solid combos for two differing weapon types?

Blunt / edged or similar

I'm thinking Short Staff / LE jabber

You can use the balance charts that are linked in SAUVA/Hanryu's signature.

I believe the game just calculates the current move as if you had done the previous move with the same weapon even if its different. E.g. if you lunge with a rapier and then swing with a mace, just look at the MB chart for the balance mod of a lunge--->swing.

Yeah, Hanryu's download will give you a path to make your own combos, but can be hard.

Jabbing LE I cannot help you with, but here are some really, really east combos for other set-ups with what you may be thinking.

Short Staff(left hand)/HE or ME or LE(slicing one works best): slice, sweep left....repeat combo.
Biggest edge you can do offhand and lower (left hand)/ Short staff: sweep, slice left...repeat combo
Short Staff (left hand)/HB or MB or LB: sweep, bash left..repeat combo
Biggest blunt you can do offhand and lower (left hand)/ Short Staff: bash, sweep left...repeat combo

The one that keeps me the most balanced and not over exausted is:

feint 1/#, draw 2/# , punch 3/#, sweep 4/#, elbow 5/#, slice 6/#, kick 7/#, (Rinse, Switch, Repeat)

each time you switch the balance will move over so that attack that is left once will be right the next time.

The critical part of the script is:

right:
put /attack/
goto check

left:
put /attack/ left
goto check
