Yep, bless required.

I think you are confused:

Noncorporeal would be the opposite - meaning they have no physical substance. In which case, bless is required to hit them *at all* - which is the case with these. ;)

I wandered up to the Abbey and got two hafwas on me pretty quickly, then typed >hunt to see if there were any more in the area, got "You find yourself unable to hunt in this area.", turned around, and left.

Can't use hunt in cinder beasts, shadow beasts, hafwas, or resucitants. Kind of lame considering those are basically the higher end of the undead spectrum, but oh well.
Thanks for the update Grejuva. I'll check them out later. Hopefully they're huntable now and able to get 4 on you to learn multi.

I think the spirit attack was uptweaked a bit too much. Any chance you could re-evaluate that please Grejuva? It's hitting me with 60 disc/40 charisma + a capped vigil + pfe.
Can't really hunt them due to that as if I sit with 4 to learn defenses/multi I'd most likely die relatively quickly.
It's too bad as more people are moving into cinder and shadow beasts, which are essentially un-huntable with 2+ people in either area as they don't spawn enough.
I'd prefer not to have to be forced to move up into plague wraiths early because of broken spawn mechanics, but it is what it is.
As a side note, anyone know what the spawn rate of spirit dancers in the cave is like, and how high they teach defenses/offenses?

I keep meaning to try out Spirit Dancers again- if I get there in the next day or two I will give you an update on spawn.
