Some of you may or may not remember the Arthe Dale concert series, which ran from 2000 to... well...2006? 2007? I cant remember!! (For those interested, there is a wonderful site Mykk ran that has a lot of the earlier concerts still archived, http://www.arthedale.com/bard/concerts.html ).

Anyway, I want to start a new concert series in Theren, and I am looking for performers. The concerts will run every other week, on a Saturday evening, either at the Theren theatre or in the garden where the Lady Shantelle holds her tea parties (if she agrees).

Each concert will feature (generally) one performer, for anywhere from 30-50 minutes. Songs must be realms-specific, and if not original the original author must be credited. If I do not know you, I will require an audition.

You do not have to be a Bard!

Though people always remember the concert's songs, this is not limited to just songs! I believe stories are a woefully neglected venue for entertainment in the realms, and people forget that the Arthe Dale series also had a puppet show, a comedy routine and a very well done magic show.

I look to start in September. I would like to begin to build a back-log of at least two months of performers like I used to have at Arthe Dale, and I would also like to have a few people that would agree to be 'emergency back-ups!'.

Please let others know, and even if you don't want to perform encourage people to attend. Some of the old concerts were some of the most well attended events around, and all of them were a lot of fun.
