One of the best ideas I've heard in a long time.

making traps, poisons, trail blazing shortcuts, the ability to use dozens of plants that have uses but are not implemented. These are all things that have come up before, and many of them are awsome ideas. They are not cmans though, these are what should be guild skills. The ranger guild has been in existance for over a decade and nothing has come of it. The biggest change that could offer more improvements to grey areas for rangers is not cmans, its the implimentation of the guild skills, and a few changes to spells like the companion spell, and WOT

-Honestly, tho, I don't give a crap about any of the CMANs. Like a lot of rangers, I just train in them so that critters have more difficulty disarming/sweeping me. We don't really have any that are very useful offensively (compared to other options).-
I used to agree totally with that until lately,
I recently adjusted my cmans to learn dirtkick. I like it, it hits almost anything including most undead and things like apparitions. I really thought this cman had no use at all, until playing around with someone else and they used it on me. I was basically unable to do anything for the R/T effectively.
If your curious just train it up one level an try it.
